Welcome to Camping L’Arize, a verdant riverside setting near Foix, just 1 hour from Toulouse and Carcassonne in the Occitanie region of France.

Camping l’Arize is the ideal starting point for discovering the Ariège region: mountains, forests, picturesque villages, caves, Cathar castles… or simply enjoying the silence, birdsong and river water. Here, you can take the time to breathe, to get together as a family, with friends or as a couple, far from the stress of everyday life.

With the Clef Verte label, Camping L’Arize is an eco-responsible campsite that puts nature at the heart of its activities: reasoned management of resources, waste reduction, local partners… You’ll be staying in an unspoilt setting, where we take great care to maintain a peaceful atmosphere that respects the environment.

Accommodation & pitches: space, greenery and serenity

Our campsite pitches are open from May 1 to September 19, 2026. For tents, caravans, vans or motorhomes, you’ll find spacious, shady or sunny pitches, some close to the river, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and nature.

Take advantage of our shady waterside pitches, our comfortable rentals with very little privacy, and our many little extras: a warm atmosphere, gentle entertainment, a children’s playground, swimming, hiking, gourmet discoveries… Everything you need for a simple, rejuvenating vacation.

Whether you’re with friends or family, Camping L’Arize welcomes you in a calm, friendly, family atmosphere. On site, you’ll enjoy the river, the natural spaces and all the services at your disposal for a rejuvenating stay in the heart of the Ariege Pyrenees in Occitania.

From June to September, you can also relax in our heated swimming pool, ideal for cooling off during the day or extending your swim in the late afternoon.

Ideally situated on the banks of the river, our campsite offers a total of 94 pitches, including 70 bare pitches for tents, caravans, vans and motorhomes, and 20 rentals and 4 comfortable chalets. It’s easy to choose the formula that suits you best, between traditional camping and ready-to-live-in accommodation.

“This is the 2nd time we’ve been to the campsite and, frankly, it’s always a pleasure to come. Very well equipped: access to the river, small wood, children’s play area, fitness, swimming pool and paddling pool, child-friendly toilet, “sports” area (volleyball net, badminton…). the entertainment on offer is great and varied for adults and children alike. Dog accepted. To sum up, it’s a family campsite, quiet, with a change of scenery, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. a real pleasure to go

“A family campsite on a human scale, Stéphanie and Cédric and their entire team are charming. The campsite is well maintained, the pitches are well marked out and shaded, and the sanitary facilities are beyond reproach. The restaurant is a must: divine wood-fired pizzas, homemade hamburgers with local cheese, a delight! The entertainment and evenings are ideal, the campsite remains calm while being well animated, concerts, campfire evenings, foodtruck, night-time swimming pool, astrology evening, our teenagers made friends from the first evening, the swimming pool and access to the river also pleased us a lot.”
